  • Faith in Allah
    This means believing fully and confidently that there is only one God, Allah. He is the Creator of everything in this world and controls everything. Believing in Allah is the foundation of Islam, like the base of a house.

  • Faith in the angels
    Angels are invisible beings created by Allah who always obey His commands. For example, Angel Jibril who delivered revelations to the prophets, or the angels who record our deeds.

  • Faith in the holy books
    This means believing in the sacred books sent by Allah through the prophets, like the Quran, Torah, Psalms, and Gospel. These books contain guidance to help us live the right way.

  • Faith in the prophets and messengers
    Prophets and messengers are chosen humans given the task by Allah to deliver His teachings to people. We believe they are truthful and we must follow the teachings they brought, especially Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

  • Faith in the Day of Judgment
    This means believing that after death, we will be resurrected to answer for all our actions. So, we should live a good life to receive good rewards in the afterlife.

  • Faith in Qadar (Divine Decree)
    Believing that everything that happens in this world, good or bad, has been determined by Allah. But we still have to try and pray because destiny is also part of Allah’s best plan.
